Betts Richter

Albuquerque, NM - Betts Richter died Wednesday, Nov 13, 2013 at her home in Albuquerque, NM. She was born Betty Ann Danziger, April 6, 1927 in San Fransisco, the daughter of David I Danziger and Dorothy Bertha Fabian Danziger. She married John Richter on June 11, 1949 in San Fransisco, CA., when she was twenty-two years old, and they had three children and later divorced.

 

Betts lived most of her life in California where she taught in the public school system and wrote several children's books that are still available today.

 

In the early 2000's Betts retired to Albuquerque NM to be with a community of friends on the Belen Mesa. She contributed to many charities. She was a dowser, a psychic and a healer who took pride in her work and relationships with her many friends and pets.

 

Betts siblings were a brother Phillip Danziger and a sister Dorothy Anne Danziger.
